Early last week, The Knight’s Lance provided a captivating world premiere gallery showcasing the 33 young stars from the 2010 NFL PLAYERS Rookie Premiere whose cornerstone Rookie Ticket Autographed RCs are signed on-card and are live in the product.

While filming the Panini America quality control process for the product in the days that followed, this intrepid — or is it inept? — blogger unwittingly created quite a stir by asking whether or not those players also had Rookie Ticket variations in the product.

The answer — as I found out during the taping of a must-see Panini Unwrapped episode that will go live Wednesday morning — is a resounding “yes.” And every one of those Rookie Ticket variations is presented for your viewing pleasure in the gallery that follows.

But as the product officially launches today, perhaps the most important questions remain unanswered: Are the variations short-printed? If so, how short are they? Indeed, this remains a developing situation.

Here’s hoping the following images of some of 2010’s most coveted Rookie Card variations will hold you over until I can unearth more details.

  1. So are the variations necessarily short printed?? I just opened a 12 box case and got lots of the variations but not of the “better” players.

  2. i love the 2010 RPS autos, they have a clean bright look. i think they are much better than last years cards, and the auto’s don’t smear as much either. Great job, Panini!

  3. just opened up a case of this great product and was lucky to pull both versions of the tebow rps card. also both had inscriptions on them, one has GB2 and the other has go broncos on it. so far i have seen 4 versions of the tebow card. which one is the shortest print? guess they want to keep us all guessing for a while. now just have to try and complete the auto set. more than half way there with most of the variations. cant wait to complete it.

  4. Have a ssp (super short print) of the Jeremy Williams auto #148 for trade. Need both Bradford’s both spiller’s and a few others. Who would like to trade? Lets hear what u got…
