Skip to content Delivers Rated Rookie Tees, National Redemption Packs

August 1, 2012

After months of tantalizing previews and a positively raucous reception from collectors of many eras, Panini America finally is ready to deliver its wildly popular Rated Rookie T-shirts to the masses. And the only place you can get them is at

While supplies last, collectors who spend $60 or more at the official online store of Panini America will receive a free Rated Rookie T-shirt as a gift with purchase. (It’s worth noting that all orders of $50 or more at qualify for free shipping.) And that’s in addition to the special virtual wrapper-redemption program being held this week on in conjunction with the 2012 National Sports Collectors Convention in Baltimore.

Indeed, for those collectors who can’t make it to Baltimore but still want to participate in the popular Panini America wrapper-redemption program, has you covered. While supplies last, customers who purchase selected products from the online store will receive the equivalent number of 2012 National wrapper-redemption packs — the same packs available on location in Baltimore.

So, you can’t come to the National? We’re bringing the National to you, and making sure you have the ultimate T-shirt so you can dress the part, too.

Just placed my order! I’ve been wanting this shirt since I first saw it from the RPS! Thanks!

Just placed an order because of this post Chris, I did not want to miss out on the RR tee shirt since I’ve been asking Tracy and Scott about them for months on their posts. Can’t wait to rock that bad boy at the local card shop and shows! Thanks so much!

Hey you’re that famous guy who has his own card in the wrapper redemption set! WOW!

Big shoutout to Jennifer in customer service for calling me to get my shirt size btw, I was a little concerned when I didn’t see the option during checkout but she followed up fast!

Thanks for the shout out to Jen – she does an awesome job for us! We are working on the shirt size issue and should be resolved in an hour. We will call all customers to confirm size: L, XL or XXL in the meantime. Thanks!

OK, you got me. Order placed. I’ll be calling this my b-day present when the wife asks.

You’re a good man, sir. And a smart one. Thanks.

      • August 1, 2012 10:35 am

Funny, Tom. More like “infamous,” I think.

Curious, what size? I go to order and I’m not allowed to select a size. I’m not going to order if I get a Youth Small to go all ‘Hulk’ on. Also, are these 50% cotton / 50% poly?

    • August 1, 2012 10:35 am

The shirts are a tri-blend and way comfortable. You won’t be disappointed. And someone from our CS department will call to confirm your size until we get that bug fixed on the store. Thanks for your interest.

Awesome! I love those shirts!!! I could tell from the photos at the Premier that they were super comfy. And I am amped about the redemption packs, as I’ve wanted to get a few of those! Sweet, love getting myself B-day presents! hahaha Should make it just in time! Thanks for making this ‘fun’!

Darn, is there a timeframe on when other sizes might be available?

Kelly, if you are a ‘M’, I’d recommend going with a large. There isn’t much more comfortable in the world than a slightly larger ‘tri-blend’ shirt.

    Hey Tracy,

Sorry I won’t see you guys in person, I was really trying to get out there for at least Sunday. But the powers that be (My wife) Is not very thrilled with the idea of Driving down to Maryland from Brooklyn NY and back on the same day.
So I put my order in for 2 boxes of Elite and got my Shirt and 12 wrapper-redemption packs headed my way. Hope you guys have a great time and I can’t wait for all the updates about the weekend.

Great promo, ordered my box for the shirt and packs. If we pull an Instant Win, how would we go about “redeeming” them?

    Tracy, thanks in advance.

Do you have to purchase $60 worth of product to be able to purchase a shirt, or can I buy one by itself? I see the shirt by itself, but I can’t add it to my cart since it won’t let me select a size…

  11. August 1, 2012 7:43 pm

Tried to oredr several times, but when you get to enter your credit card, nothing happens. Keeps going back to the begining. Won’t let me put in my credit card info or anything.

  12. August 1, 2012 9:22 pm

By the way, about how long will this promotion be going on? I might try to sneak in another purchase, but I want to know the timeframe I’m working in.

    • August 1, 2012 9:23 pm

It’s while supplies last – I can tell you that online “supplies” are VERY limited.

  13. August 8, 2012 10:41 am

I received my order and pulled a redemption for a signed 8×10 which was only valid at the National. Is there going to be some way for those like me to redeem these?
