The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2012 Crown Royale Football (102 Images)

December 25, 2012

Panini America 2012 Crown Royale Football QC (10)

As if having five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant wishing Panini America collectors “happy holidays” wasn’t cool enough, we have another little Christmas Day surprise for you: The following 102-image gift that is the quality control gallery for 2012 Crown Royale Football, which releases tomorrow.

Indeed, it’s never too early to start building your wishlist for next year. Better yet, perhaps you can return those socks, ties and boxer briefs tomorrow and put some of the money toward your 2012 Crown Royale Football fund. The following gallery should help illustrate exactly why that’s such a good idea.

The fact of the matter is that football card season rarely takes a day off, so while you’re enjoying this special day with your family and friends, don’t forget to spend some quality time with The Knight’s Lance checking out the majestic spread that Crown Royale has in store this season.

Boasting the always-stunning Rookie Silhouettes, a most regal parallel checklist that includes rich Greens, Blues, Reds and Purples, and the gridiron debut of the die-cut Panini’s Choice Awards autographs, 2012 Crown Royale Football appears ready to reign.

But take a look for yourself and let us know what you think. And stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage of 2012 Crown Royale Football. From all of us here at Panini America: Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Of all the things we’re thankful for this time of year, our collectors are at the top of the list.

Tracy, is there a silhouette in every four pack box? I have heard yes, and then no. Just wondering? Looks like an amazing product.

Wow would have loved to have that David Wilson in my stocking. I love this product overall. Nice diecut crown base cards. Rookie silhouettes are hands down the best looking rookie cards on the market despite what some companies attempt to say about theirs…THEY ARE WRONG. There is not another better rookie card than this.

Hope everyone at Panini has a great holiday and a Merry Christmas. You to Tracy who never takes a day off and is always here for us colkectors

What an amazing looking product! Every single card, insert, auto and jersey is so well done. In this time of giving I am going to have to give myself as many of those Seahawk cards as possible. Well done and Happy Holidays to Panini and its collectors!

I assume your referring to the base parallels UN die-cut crown cards? Those were not supposed to be shown yet, but since it Christmas time i’ll explain. Crown Die-cut parallels come in Silver (seq 149), Gold (seq 99), Green (seq 49), Purple (seq 25) and Blue (seq 5). There are UN die-cut versions NOT seq #ered and limited to the following qtys Silver-5 each, Gold-4 each, Green-3 each, Purple-2 each and Blue-1 each.
Merry Christmas to all of our Collectors!

Thanks for the explaination…I pulled a Blue Un-die-cut and thought it was an error until I came across this post. Would it be possible to have these variants added to the checklist?

I’ll be honest, not wild about the design of this years silhouette autos. I really liked the last two years, but I don’t know about these ones. Also, are there some that are hand signed while others are sticker?

    • December 25, 2012 10:50 pm

Appreciate the feedback. And yes, most are hard-signed but some are stickers. It was either stickers or redemptions in those cases — and we’d rather deliver live autos.

    Looks amazing, Great Job

Good variety of inserts, GU cards, autos and of course, colored parallels! Well done!

The color foil parallels are nice but not that super awesome to make it a significant reason for me to buy a box of Crowne Royale. You guys absolutely have to get rid of the HUGE white box for the autograph, it is a HUGE eyesore. The placement of big manufactured patch (MP) with rookie auto white box is placed awkwardly. I suggest the MP to be placed behind the player’s picture with the on-card auto placed on a light/neutral color that blends well with the rest of the card. For Crown Royale to meet the true meaning of its name and brand, there should be ZERO sticker auto’s in this brand. If ZERO sticker auto’s means higher cost per box or less auto cards per box, so be it and I will buy it because we want on-card auto’s.

I realle enjoy this product! I am a big fan of die-cuts and Panini doesn’t make a lot of them so it is really nice that when they do they look fantastic! I will have to find a way to get an RG3 Rookie Royalty patch card-thanks again for the preview:)
