2013 Limited Football Plays Starring Role in Contest Edition of Panini Unwrapped

If you missed last week's Panini Unwrapped episode starring the new 2013 Limited Football, well, there's a good reason for that: We didn't post one. But late last Friday afternoon, we rectified that situation by sitting Tracy Hackler and Chris Reed down with two boxes of the product for the following must-see video.

If you missed last week’s Panini Unwrapped episode starring the new 2013 Limited Football, well, there’s a good reason for that: We didn’t post one. But late last Friday afternoon, we rectified that situation by sitting Tracy Hackler and Chris Reed down with two boxes of the product for the following must-see video.

After you watch the video, stick around for a two-part contest that will award five lucky collectors with unopened boxes of 2013 Limited Football.

OK, now that you’ve watched the video, it’s time for the contest. This is a two-parter and you’ll leave your answers as ONE COMMENT TO THIS POST. Part one is easy if you watched the video, so let’s get that one out of the way: What epic running back autograph did Reed pull late in the video?

For part two, we present another of our vaunted Knight’s Lance Scavenger Hunts. You see the image at the top of this post featuring Reed and Hackler? Well, we’ve taken the liberty of hiding a smaller, perhaps-somewhat-manipulated version of it just one time somewhere in the galleries linked below. Part two of your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find the hidden image and tell us on which card image you found it.

We’ll wait to approve all comments until after the entry deadline, which is roughly 12 hours from right now — TONIGHT (November 18) at 10 p.m. CST – so your comment will appear to you as “pending moderation.” That’s our way of protecting your answers to this contest so that everyone else can’t see them. To be eligible to win, please keep your answers to yourself until after the deadline. We want to reward those folks who’ve taken the time and effort to watch the video and find the hidden image.

We’ll place all correct entries into an online randomizer and award five winners with a box of 2013 Limited Football. Just to be clear, the image you’re looking for is the one that appears as the lead image of this post and it looks like this:

  95. chris reed pulled a jerome bettis 4/5 autographed Monkers card.

The image was found in the second gallary and was found on the spotlight phenom rookie card of Earl Wolff on his right hand. He is on the philidelphia eagles and the card is 21/49 in serial numbering. It is a cool card.

My comment I made yesterday within the contest deadline for some reason was approved and posted.

Anyway, thanks for the great contest, Jordan Freeman.

  96. When are the comments released and winners picked? I know you’re busy , just excited for the chance at a product I can’t afford lol

  97. I did reply to this post last night but my response was never posted. Don’t know why, can’t imagine why. So here are my responses again.

Chris Reed got a 4/5 Jerome Bettis autographed Monkers card. He is a GREAT running back.

The image of Reed and Hackler was found on the right hand of the Earl Wolff spotlight phenom rookie card on the Philidelphia Eagles. It was numbered 21/49. The card was in the second gallary. It can be found in the link below.

Please approve this post since the one that met the contest deadline was not. I have tried to post a series of comments, but none are being approved. I just want to know, did I do something wrong?

Until next time thanks for the AMAZING contest, Jordan Freeman.

    BTW Great looking design.

    1. Robert Meacham Card out of 26/49 Panini America 2013 Limited Football QC (70). It WAS hard to find this time even for ME! But if you do go back and look at it, look on the left bottom border of the card, it’s hiddin in the glare 😀

  98. Just a couple notes for people (and I don’t work at Panini).
    1. Everyone’s comments are hidden until after the contest is closed. If you don’t see your comment, that’s because it wouldn’t be much of a contest if everyone saw the first person’s answers.
    2. They will announce the winners within a day or two after the contest closes. Someone has to go through all the responses, find the correct ones, and enter them into a randomizer, which selects the prizewinners. That takes some time, and has to be fit in around other work. If you win, they will post your name (or handle), will email you within a day or two after that, and will ship it out soon after you reply with your shipping info.

    1. Nice way to explain it all Nick :). WE the faithful followers of Panini, I would assume know this, but for the new people, First off WELCOME! then secondly, this is a great way to explain it all 🙂 Nice job Nick 🙂

    2. You read my mind. Great, though, that we have a bunch of new people signed up to follow the blog who might not really know how these work time-wise and comment-wise.

  99. First, I apologize for the delay in announcing the winners. It was a wild, woolly week here at Panini America HQ. Thanks to everyone who participated and congrats to our five winners this time around: Deloreanfan, ryo 1549, jaydoublebusy, Tim Cuba and Matt Farus. Winners, we’ll be in touch. As always, our next contest is right around the corner. Thanks again.
