Panini America 2012-13 Rookie Anthology Hockey Weekend QC Main

The Quality Control process for Panini America’s 2012-13 Rookie Anthology Hockey release that began in earnest Friday continued through the weekend as the Panini America NHL team put the finishing touches on a product that began shipping to hobby shops yesterday in advance of the product’s June 5 release date.

As the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs carom into their final exciting rounds, hockey collectors across North America are anxiously awaiting the follow-up to last season’s successful debut release that once again will combine some of Panini America’s most popular concepts into one blockbuster release.

From the NHL debut of Prizm to the only appearance this season of Silhouettes, Titanium RCs and Elite Inscriptions acetate autographs, 2012-13 Rookie Anthology Hockey clearly is primed and ready to make a long playoff run. Following are 18 new images that surfaced during this weekend’s QC continuation.

Enjoy the eye candy and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance in the coming days for additional coverage of 2012-13 Rookie Anthology Hockey.

I especially like the “auto over the ice surface” look to the scratching the surface cards. Very cool!! Especially if any Flyers are involved!

That Titanium Mario Lemieux may be the best looking hockey card I’ve ever seen, 20 years ago when I actually collected hockey he was my guy and that is a fantastic looking card. Thanks Tracy!

I haven’t bought hockey in a while, but this intrigues me. So many sets combined into one product.

If the actual product distribution looks like this, the balance of HOF, current and rookie players is going to be amazing. Thanks for the post, Tracy, looking forward to see the some box breaks!
