The phenomenon known as the 2013 Panini America’s Father’s Day promotion continues to gain serious momentum in these final hours leading up to, well, Father’s Day. In fact, excitement surrounding the promotion seems to grow even more palpable and more insane with each new preview we show.

On Monday we published the preliminary list of dealers participating in this special nationwide wrapper-redemption program, and will have some late additions to that list tomorrow.

But as is the case every year, we’ve had many collectors ask how they can get involved in the program if there are no participating brick-and-mortar hobby shops in their area. Well, we’ve got you covered there, too. While supplies last, collectors who purchase selected products on will receive the corresponding number of 2013 Father’s Day packs while supplies last.

The products available as part of the Father’s Day promotion are:

2013 USA Baseball Champions (2 Father’s Day packs for every box purchased)

2012-13 Marquee Basketball (3 Father’s Day packs for every box purchased)

2012-13 Panini Basketball (2 Father’s Day packs for every box purchased)

2012-13 Elite Basketball (3 Father’s Day packs for every box purchased)

2012 Prime Signatures Football (2 Father’s Day packs for every box purchased)

2012-13 Limited Hockey (2 Father’s Day packs for every box purchased)

NOTE: The listed 2013 Father’s Day pack rates are exclusive to the promotion; pack quantities will vary at participating hobby shops

So you have two ways to participate: Visit one of the participating hobby shops or visit

If you buy Limited Hockey, do you get the Father’s Day and Stanley Cup Fimnals promos, or do you have to choose one?

    • June 12, 2013 3:54 pm

Yes, you would get both according to guru Chris Reed.

SWEET! Only thing better than the Stanley Cup Final promo is getting the Father’s Day promo packs as well! On it!!!

I just ordered limited hockey today on the Stanley cup promo, you saying that I would also qualify for this promo as well? Don’t see it on my order, guess I’ll have to check up with the sales department

Will the iCollectPanini site ever allow for international customers outside of USA and Canada? Would really love the chance to purchase some of these promotional items but being in New Zealand I never get the chance.

2-3 packs per box this year, when last year we were getting 4 or more packs per box. I sure hope these packs are more loaded then last year.

If that is true (time will tell I guess), then I’d trade quality for quantity.

I agree, I would definitely rather get quality over quantity. However of the dozen packs I got last year I got no memorabilia cards and 1 autograph of 3rd string rookie that I’m not even sure is on a roster in the NFL now. So since they are giving out fewer packs per box this year, I just hope the odds are better than last years.

My question is will every pack have a Jersey or auto of some kind? If not how will you stop cherry picking the Jerseys and stuff from regular packs?

    • June 12, 2013 10:45 pm

No, not every pack. We are looking at incorporating those into future promotions, however. Most dealers have their own fair way of randomizing the pack-distribution process.

Good luck to all the Dads out there when they get their packs, thanks for providing an online component to those who can’t make it to the LCS. Great job as always Tracy!

Just got back into the hobby at this time last year and missed out on this promo. It is fitting that this being my first fathers day as a father I get to get in on this for the first time. Just ordered 3 boxes of Prime Sigs and I can’t wait!!!!

I’m on a road trip so I was able to go to 2 of the shops on your list of participating dealers and was told that they weren’t doing it this year. I am definitely upset about going out of my way, but going to try another shop tomorrow. Hopefully in the future your list of participating dealers will be more accurate.

    • June 13, 2013 11:17 pm

Sorry to hear that. Can you tell me what two shops those were?

Dan’s Sports Cards and Jacksonville Sports Cards, both in Jacksonville, FL.

0 for 3 now. I went to Dick & Janes in Jacksonville and they weren’t doing it either. None of the boxes online are ones that I am interested in, so it looks like this year’s promotion was a bust for me. =(

Tracy, will a checklist and print runs be made available for the Fathers Day promotional cards? I pulled an Anthony Davis lava-flow jersey prime (I think) and a Kyrie Irving proof blank back…and I was curious what the print runs were for them. Thanks again to the entire Panini promotional team, excellent job again!
