The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2013-14 Select Hockey (100 Must-See Pics)

November 1, 2013

Panini America 2013-14 Select Hockey QC (101)

Over the course of two QC-filled days earlier this week, Panini America NHL brand developers Karvin Cheung and Chris Barr took turns hijacking the company Twitter account to bring collectors behind the scenes at packout for 2013-14 Select Hockey, easily one of the most anticipated new hockey releases of the year. What they shared during that process — including the first autograph RCs and autograph memorabilia RCs of the newest, hottest #PaniniDoubleRookieClass headliners — kept the Twitterverse buzzing for hours.

Tweet by Tweet, Cheung and Barr revealed breathtaking glimpses of the greatness to come when 2013-14 Select Hockey releases next week just in time for the 2013 Toronto Fall Expo. For example . . .

As inviting and revealing as those Tweets were, they didn’t come close to encompassing everything that 2013-14 Select Hockey has to offer. But the following Quality Control Gallery should. Enjoy the pics and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance next week for additional coverage of 2013-14 Select Hockey.

Indeed! Have we something special planned for those folks who bring a case of 2013-14 Select to open at our booth. Details coming early next week.

This makes my weekend, I cannot wait for this stuff and the expo. Great timing. I love the Jack Campbell and the first live auto of Nathan MacKinnon. Great work by all of Panini as usual. Will definately be buying lots of this stuff.

Hmmm… this product just might have a fighting chance after all.

    But what’s the deal with McKinnon’s signature…?

Excellent looking product so far, some of those prime pieces are sick. Is Select planning on coming to any other sports soon? Thanks Tracy!

I wasn’t sure about the timing or execution of this when announced, but these cards are stunning! A solid effort, should sell well initially and on secondary market. Thanks for the pics!
