Denard Robinson, Panini America Team Up at 2013 Pop Warner Super Bowl (Gallery)
As if the sunshine, palm trees and sight of exciting football games weren’t enough, Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Denard Robinson spent Tuesday with Panini America at the 57th Annual Pop Warner Super Bowl in Orlando. The legendary Michigan Wolverines quarterback brought his magnificent smile and electric personality to the party, easily winning over the hearts of countless Pop Warner football players, cheerleaders, parents and coaches alike.
For Panini America, Robinson’s presence provided a much-needed opportunity to get the rookie’s remaining 2013 Contenders Football autographs completed. Robinson joined Panini America’s Chris Reed on a more-than two-hour car ride from Jacksonville to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, signing his Contenders autographs, conducting an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio and talking sports along the way.
Onsite at the 2013 Pop Warner Super Bowl, the question might have been “what didn’t Robinson do.” He was a beacon of light, as he spent time at the Panini America tent, handing out sticker albums, including the 2013 NFL Sticker Album, signing a special autograph piece for fans and engaging with them as only he can — at one point even closing the deal on selling a packet of Panini stickers. After his time at the Panini tent, teams from the Jensen Beach Falcons and the Gilroy Browns were treated with a pre-game pep talk and a special coin toss from Robinson.
