Panini America will welcome Dallas Mavericks fans back from the 2014 NBA All-Star break during tonight’s game against LeBron James and the Miami Heat by giving away the first two cards of a special 10-card 2013-14 NBA Hoops Dallas Mavericks set. Tonight’s cards — Dirk Nowitzki and rookie Shane Larkin — will be distributed in cello packs that also include a Larkin Panini HRX card.

You can preview all three of tonight’s cards, as well as the other seven cards in the set that will be distributed later this season, in the gallery below. Panini America has been distributing free 2013-14 NBA Sticker Albums and commemorative sticker sheets for most of this season, but tonight’s game marks the first appearance of the special NBA Hoops cards.

Panini America will be activating at four additional games during the second half of the season and fans can complete their 10-card sets by attending the following games:

  • February 28 vs. the Chicago Bulls (Vince Carter, Samuel Dalembert)
  • March 25 vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder (Shawn Marion, DeJuan Blair)
  • March 27 vs. the Los Angeles Clippers (Monta Ellis, Jose Calderon)
  • April 10 vs. the San Antonio Spurs (Brandan Knight, Jae Crowder)

Stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage.

I’m a Miami Heat fan, but also a fan of Dirk (much respect of what he’s done & glad he made the All-Star game again) & HUGE fan of Shane cause he’s an ex-Hurricane. So since I’m in the Miami area and can’t attend the game tonight, any chance I can get a pack still somehow please, Panini America?

I hope it was a big success, who doesn’t like free cards at a sporting event? Thanks Tracy!

Ugh my dad was at the game but didn’t tell me about it until today! I asked him if there was any chance in the world that he picked up the cards but he had no idea they were there! I had a long talk with him about telling me what he does in the future BEFORE going out and doing things!
