Teaser Gallery: Panini America Breaks Early Boxes of Live-Tomorrow 2015 Elite Baseball

June 30, 2015

Panini America 2015 Elite Baseball Teaser (5)

Just six days ago, we brought you the comprehensive Quality Control Gallery showcasing a little bit of everything tomorrow’s release of 2015 Elite Baseball has to offer. And while that QC perspective is a great way to meet the product on a more global level, we also realize that many collectors like to take a more granular peek at a product to ascertain what might be expected from a few boxes. And therein lies the beauty of The Knight’s Lance’s regular Teaser Gallery feature.

In the gallery that follows, we take you pack by pack through two 16-pack boxes of 2015 Elite Baseball, a 32-pack experience that delivered some quality autographs, a bevy of colorful parallels and more than we thought it would in terms of hits (at least on the second box). Take a look for yourself after the jump and stay tuned for continued coverage of 2015 Elite Baseball, releasing in hobby shops across North America tomorrow.

The Mauer auto was pretty nice as well.

    Thanks Tracy!

The Mauer is pretty sweet, the Iwakuma is really sharp. Are there hot boxes, Tracy?
I like the design of the cards, particularly the die-cuts; One could perform an appendectomy with the Despaigne ‘graph.
I would, however, be lying if I didn’t admit to disappointment regarding the number of autos per box. Every year, Elite can be counted upon to deliver 4-6 prospect autos per box …with hot boxes delivering an embarrassment of autographed riches. Elite has evolved into a prospecting staple, I’m relatively certain that I won’t be the only collector disappointed by the diminished number of hits.

Nevertheless… thanks for the nice gallery, T-Hack!

Appreciate the feedback as always, Jamey. Elite Extra Edition is still our home for the rich prospect autographs.

Thanks for clarifying, Tracy! I’m really delighted to hear it.
Breaking a box of Elite with my daughter, so far we’ve pulled a really nice Jose Contreras auto and a King Felix jersey card. The other packs will be ripped to pieces this evening.

Happy & safe holiday, tracy….and a Happy holiday to TKL readership and Panini staff!

Elite is a product that seems to deliver constantly! The quality is something collectors have come to expect year in and year out, no matter the sport. I’m impressed by the variations in Elite, I’m a fan of an insert per pack and the auto/mem are pretty great also!

I’m on my 2nd box. The first yielded Jose Contreras and Kyle Seager autos, and a beautiful Mark McGwire patch numbered out of /10.
Very nice, very well priced product.
