Panini America Provides Detailed First Look at 2015 National Treasures College (Gallery)

On the heels of Panini America’s recent announcement that it would be releasing 2015 Immaculate College later this year comes more bombshell news sure to rock the super-premium college trading card world: 2015 National Treasures College is coming, too. Set to arrive in January, 2015 National Treasures College features a massive checklist of more than 500 players featured in their college uniforms.

Each eight-card box will deliver six autograph or memorabilia cards and two additional base or parallel cards. The product’s rich rookie content is bolstered by autographed memorabilia cards from the College Football Materials Signatures, College Basketball Materials Signatures and College Baseball Materials Signatures sets. For additional highlights, keep reading.

  • All College Materials Signatures are sequentially numbered to 99 or less. Look for Printing Plates Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow versions numbered to only one.
  • National Treasured Cuts features cut autographs from iconic college sports figures like Jackie Robinson and Sammy Baugh.
  • Look for on-card autographs in College Football Materials Signatures, College Basketball Signature Die Cuts, College Baseball Colossal Signatures, College Basketball Materials Signatures and more. 
  • Find Notable Nickname cards featuring a personally inscribed nicknames from the likes of Magic Johnson, Earl Campbell, Peyton Manning and Deion Sanders.
  • Find past and present game-worn college uniforms from Aaron Rodgers, Barry Sanders, Peyton Manning, Richard Sherman, Russell Westbrook and many more.
  • Find your favorite 2015 NFL, NBA and MLBPA rookies in Combo Player Signature Booklets featuring a booklet that combines an autograph with a jumbo memorabilia piece. Players included are Karl-Anthony Towns, Alex Bregman, Jameis Winston and more.
  • Team Trios includes player-worn college uniform cards of three college stars from the same school. Look for Prime versions numbered to 10.
  • Highlighted by a die-cut design and on-card autographs, Signature Die Cuts features top draft picks from the 2015 MLBPA, NBA and NFL drafts including Golden Spikes Award winner Andrew Benintendi, Naismith Player of the Year Frank Kaminsky and Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota.

    But no other sports? Colleges do have other sports to, or do some other company have monopoly on all hockey now? Womens basketball or soccer would also be nice. All to broaden the hobby. There is one sport that is growing fast and have already passed NHL and NBA. It will pass NFL next year. You figure out what sport that is. Keep up the great work!
