The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2015-16 Luxe Basketball (36 Must-See Pics)

April 22, 2016

Panini America 2015-16 Luxe Basketball QC14

Metal-framed, fancily foiled, majestically die-cut and hard-signed, Panini America’s debut edition of Luxe Basketball last season certainly provided a lot to like. In fact, 2014-15 Luxe Basketball resonated so much with collectors that it paved the way for the debut edition of 2015 Luxe Football earlier this season. Now, the stage is set for 2015-16 Luxe Basketball, the highly anticipated follow-up to last season’s brand debut that releases on Wednesday.

Each box of 2015-16 Luxe Basketball will deliver four autograph or memorabilia cards including one one metal-framed autographed. Panini America officials spent some quality time in recent days quality controlling the product during the packout process. In the gallery that follows, we showcase just some of the hits that surfaced during the process.

In addition, we also showcase some of the autographed cards that were acquired during the last few months of the NBA regular season. Enjoy the gallery and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of 2015-16 Luxe Basketball.

Wow!!! Those Kobe Bryant Cards is a must have… Very beautiful cards! Well done #TeamPanini. I like the idea of having high end product like this. Which guarantees autographs and memorabilia. Then hopefully if a product has more than 5 packs in the box then the autos are better of not guaranteed like the Panini Basktball Revolutions. That way it will be exciting to open those slowly and the inserts will be even more valued. We the collectors will thank you if Panini America will go down that road. Limit the supply of the autos of the low and mid range product and not guaranteeing them of a hit. This will not only make the opening fun, it also will help the autos values. The market will not be diluted with them. Just a thought or two.

Luxe was a huge hobby hit for the football release, the notable on card ink and die cut prime relics were big positives that I’m pleased to see in the basketball edition of the program. Thanks Tracy!
