The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2015-16 Clear Vision Basketball (100+ Pics)

May 13, 2016

Panini America 2015-16 Clear Vision Basketball QC2

Panini America first introduced the unique, all-acetate Clear Vision concept to football collectors last season as a different-by-design idea that placed a premium on maximizing the design impact of acetate card stock and delivering a tough-to-pull-but-top-notch autograph checklist. Clearly, the concept resonated with collectors — which is why Clear Vision will officially crossover to the NBA hardwood one week from today.

One major difference between 2015-16 Clear Vision Basketball and its football forerunner? More autographs. Whereas 2015 Clear Vision Football delivered one autograph per nine-box inner case on average, 2015-16 Clear Vision Basketball will deliver three autographs per case on average. It’s a marked difference that should be well received by basketball collectors looking for something just a little bit different.

Set to arrive in hobby shops across North America next Friday, each box of 2015-16 Clear Vision Basketball will deliver two Rookie Cards, one insert and two parallels numbered to 149 or less. Collectors also will discover that all of the base cards for 2015-16 Clear Vision Basketball incorporate die-cuts with acetate.

You can check it all out in the extensive Quality Control Gallery that follows. Enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of 2015-16 Clear Vision Basketball.

Huh, why do these look all miscut… kind of like the old EX cards? Are they not flush cards like the Clear Vision football base cards? I was looking forward to this release because I liked the football brand, but this looks too sloppy.

Are these not flush like the football version? The cards look off-cut and sloppy…

Excellent gallery of parallels and on card autographs, clearly this product is evolving and refining nicely. Thanks Tracy!

    Tracy,

Are the autos 3 per inner case or 3 per master case. A little confusing how it was posted.

    Thanks

I loved to read you release that product. But since i saw this preview i’am very dissapointed. Didn`t you look at the cuts before release? is it going to be better on released product? The players on cards look so ugly because you cut the arms, legs, knees and sometimes the head…
i will not buy this product sorry….
