Cards Honoring the Cleveland Cavaliers and 2016 NBA Finals Arrive at Panini Instant

Panini Instant NBA Finals BlogLast night, the Cleveland Cavaliers made history during a thrilling 2016 NBA Finals by overcoming a 3-1 deficit to claim the franchise’s first world championship. Today, Panini America, the world’s largest sports and entertainment collectibles company and the exclusive trading card manufacturer of the NBA, is using its Panini Instant real-time trading card platform to produce unique trading cards honoring the biggest stars and best performances from the epic 2016 NBA Finals.

Available to order for just 48 hours, the 15 cards in the 2016 NBA Finals set feature the brightest stars from both the Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors, including LeBron James and Kyrie Irving from the Cavaliers, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green from the Warriors, and more.

The first 11 cards in the set are available for fans and collectors to purchase now. Three new cards – one commemorating James’ Finals MVP nod, one featuring a Cavaliers team celebration and one capturing Irving’s game-winning 3-pointer from last night’s Game 7 — will be added to the Panini Instant site later today. All cards in the set will be available for just 48 hours and will be made to order. Cards are available in base versions and also in limited-edition versions numbered to 25, five and only one, respectively.
