The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2016 Panini Football (100+ Must-See Pics)

Panini America 2016 Panini Football QC Gallery27

I could attempt to craft some clever, creative prose on Panini America’s upcoming, retail-only 2016 Panini Football for the next few paragraphs before unleashing the massive — and revealing — Quality Control Gallery, but hardcore insight for this all-new release might be better delivered by Panini America Assistant Football Brand Manager Lucas Kinser, who likely knows this product better than anyone else on the planet.

“2016 Panini Football is a fun, collector-friendly product with tons of unique inserts and parallels to chase,” wrote Kinser in an email earlier today. “The product contains some of the first images of many members of the 2016 rookie class in their NFL team colors, as well as some of the first memorabilia cards from the 2016 NFLPA Rookie Premiere. Look for rare Predictor insert cards that provide collectors a chance to earn an exclusive insert set of Panini trading cards if their player wins the award indicated on the card. Also, find Knights of the Round die-cuts that fall one per case, on average.”

Much of what Kinser succinctly points out above can be seen in its entirety below. But before we get to that, here’s a quick breakdown of what each 2016 Panini Football retail SKU has to offer . . .

  • From a Retail pack expect (on average): two Rookie Cards, one insert, one parallel; also look for the exclusive Sacrifice die-cut parallels.
  • From a Blaster box expect (on average): 11 Rookie Cards, five inserts, five parallels, one autograph or memorabilia card; also look for exclusive Bravery parallels.
  • From a Fat Pack expect (on average): two Rookie Cards, two inserts, two parallels; also look for the exclusive Chivalry parallels.

The product is on its way to mass retail outlets now and should be on store shelves on or about July 15. We’ll have plenty more on the inaugural edition of 2016 Panini Football in the coming days right here on The Knight’s Lance. But for now, sit back and enjoy the Quality Control Gallery:

Hey Tracy this looks pretty interesting, probably gonna pick up some. Is the base set pretty big? Hopefully it will include the first Eric Weddle Ravens card 🙂

A surprise, did not see this set coming. How many cards are in the set? Classy Look. Is the return of Panini Basketball on the Horizon
