August 12, 2016

Panini America 2016 Impeccable Football Pre-Ink25

There are built-in expectations when launching any new trading card product, but bestowing upon it a name like “Impeccable” . . . well . . . expectations immediately get heightened sight unseen. Such is the case with 2016 Impeccable Football, the newest addition to the Panini America NFL portfolio slated to launch in late September. But judging by the initial glances of just what Impeccable has in store, those lofty expectations seem well-placed.

Boasting clean designs, a diverse autograph checklist and the incorporation of new technologies, each box of 2016 Impeccable Football (eight cards per pack, one pack per box, three boxes per case) will deliver five autographs, two base cards numbered to 75 and one parallel numbered to 25 or less.

Additional highlights of the product include . . .

  • Elegance Rookie Helmet and Patch Autographs featuring two swatches of memorabilia from the top 2016 NFL rookies.
  • A diverse autograph checklist featuring past, present and future stars with several on-card autograph inserts that focus on retired and Hall of Fame players.
  • All cards are sequentially numbered to 99 or less.
  • Seeded one per case, look for Silver NFL Logo cards, featuring one ounce of precious metal in every card, and Gold NFL Logo cards featuring 14K gold.
  • Find Inkpeccable multi-signed cards featuring dual, trio and quad autographs.
  • A 100-card base set featuring current and retired NFL Stars on canvas stock. All base cards are numbered to just 75.
  • The 50-card Rookie Autographs set features the top newcomers from the 2016 NFL Draft on cards numbered 99.
  • Look for the hard-signed Elegance Veteran Patch Autographs insert featuring only prime memorabilia; numbered to as low as five.
  • The Elegance Rookie Helmet and Patch Autographs chase offers a challenging on-card chase element; also look for Elegance Rookie Helmet and Nameplate Autographs numbered to just 15.
  • The Impeccable Jersey Number Autographs insert features on-card signatures and numbering to each of the featured player’s jersey number.
  • The Impeccable Cuts insert features NFL legends numbered to five or less.
  • The on-card Indelible Ink insert is numbered to 99 or less with Gold, Platinum and Printing Plate parallels.

You guys are running out of synonyms for Flawless/Immaculate/Absolute. Topps beat you to the punch with Mint and ITG grabbed Superlative. What’s next? Inimitable? Consummate? Superb?

they’re nice looking cards though, that’s for sure. Almost feels like the autographs will take away from how they look now.

      Almost.

I really like the look of the cards! The impeccable numbers autographs look cool! Any Chicago Bears legends or greats in the set?

Glad you like them. As of now, no Bears autographs are planned for Impeccable. However, the great Gale Sayers is slated to have autographs in the Impeccable Seasons insert and Jeremy Langford is slated to have autographs in the Impeccable Stats insert.

These designs remind me of Gridiron Kings mixed with Gala, I like what I see with the Impeccable Seasons subset. Can’t wait to see all these with ink, thanks Tracy!
