Panini America Delivers Detailed First Look at 2016 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball
Following an impressive freshman campaign that benefited greatly from the likes of Karl-Anthony Towns, Kristaps Porzingis and the rest of the impressive 2015 NBA rookie class, Panini America’s iconic Contenders brand is preparing for its sophomore season in the college arena — where it once again will honor the collegiate careers of the NBA’s hottest newcomers and its more decorated veterans and legends.
Bolstered by the strength of Contenders’ landmark Ticket-themed card designs and the return of some of last season’s most popular inserts and subsets, each box of 2016 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball (eight cards per pack, 24 packs per box) will deliver, on average, five autographs, 24 Class Reunion, 24 College Connections, 24 Game Day Tickets, 24 School Colors and 24 Old School Colors.
Other highlights of 2016 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball, which is slated to arrive in hobby shops across North America in early October, include . . .
- All of your favorite current NBA stars in their college uniforms in Season Tickets; Season Ticket Cracked parallels are numbered to just 23 and there are also 1/1 Printing Plate parallels.
- The popular Alumni Ink, a 20-card chase that delivers autographs from college and NBA all-time greats, including Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal and more.
- Base and autographed versions of popular inserts such as School Colors, Old School Colors and Collegiate Connections.
