Panini America 2016 Immaculate Football Main

When it comes to immaculate receptions, you’d have to go back to Franco Harris and the Pittsburgh Steelers to find one as electrifying as the one Panini America’s Immaculate Football franchise enjoyed when it made its celebrated debut to the trading card hobby in 2014. Two high-flying, hit-filled seasons later, the brand has carved out a loyal following among higher-end football fans and collectors with a recipe steeped in clean aesthetics, an epic autograph roster and some of the industry’s most memorable memorabilia cards.

Immaculate brand tenets one and all that will no doubt benefit 2016 Immaculate Football when it arrives in hobby shops across North America in early November. Each six-card box will deliver five autograph or memorabilia cards and one base or parallel card. For additional details of this year’s installment, keep reading.

To be sure, collectors have come to expect big things from the Immaculate Football — and this year’s iteration is sure not to disappoint. Some of the most compelling highlights include . . .

  • On-card-signed memorabilia cards with Rookie Patch Autographs, Immaculate Signature Patches, Premium Patches Autographs, Immaculate Players Collection Autographs and more.
  • More full-sized memorabilia cards that feature swatches from Team Logos, Jersey Numbers, Laundry Tags and the all-new Rookie Soles insert.
  • New on-card-signed inserts including Signature Moves, Immaculate Rings and the more expansive Immaculate Moments.
  • New for this year are the Immaculate Eye Black cards. Featuring retired, veteran and rookie players, these cards contain signed eye-black pieces and provide a unique chase for collectors. Look for the Gold Ink parallel numbered as low as one.
  • Dual NFL Shields featuring top veteran, retired and rookie players, all numbered 1/1.
  • See how the league’s best celebrate, Immaculate-style, in the Signature Moves autograph set numbered to 25 or less.
  • Find hard-signed Rookie Autograph Patches numbered to 99; also chase Tag and NFL Shield versions numbered 1/1.
  • Look for the new hard-signed Immaculate Duals and Immaculate Trios Autographs sets matching up the NFL’s best.
  • The 100-card Immaculate Moments insert features on-card autos celebrating top moments from past and present NFL Superstars; numbered to 25 or less.
  • The 100-card base set is numbered to just 99 and features Gold (numbered to five) and Platinum 1/1 parallels.

We’ll have plenty more on the stacked 2016 Immaculate Football in the coming weeks right here on The Knight’s Lance. Until then, enjoy this first extended sneak peek — which includes some early mockup designs and some of the first hard-signed autograph arrivals.
