It’s a Wednesday in early October, which means it’s likely another monumental release day for Panini America products. In fact, it is. Today features the arrival of three dramatically different releases: 2015-16 Flawless Basketball, 2016 Playbook Football and 2016 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball. We’ve done our best over the last week or so to properly prepare collectors for what to expect from these releases.

We’ve delivered Quality Control Gallery posts on all three products and yesterday we brought you the Teaser Gallery for Playbook Football. Today, we’re bringing you a quick Teaser Gallery for Contenders Draft Picks Basketball that takes you pack by pack through one box. (If we could get our hands on a briefcase of Flawless Basketball, we’d do a Teaser Gallery on that one, too.)

2016 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball follows a familiar but effective game plan in celebrating the biggest stars from the world of college basketball, including the hottest rookies from the 2016 NBA Draft and the NBA’s most established veterans.

On average, each box delivers five autographs and a bevy of attractive subsets such as Season Tickets, Game Day Tickets, School Colors, Old School Colors, Class Reunion and Collegiate Connections.

You can check it all out in the Teaser Gallery that follows. Enjoy the imagery and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage.

Solid yield from just one box, definitely some big names in the mix. Thanks Tracy!

The season ticket auto’s are really good, I feel like the inserts could be improved though. Maybe by adding pictures of mascots as part of the look of the card.
