Denver Broncos Superstar Von Miller Brings a Sense of Style to 2016 Playoff Football
The fashion-meets-football-cards phenomenon that began in Panini America’s 2016 Absolute Football earlier this season recently added an MVP twist. When the company’s 2016 Playoff Football product released last Wednesday, it included some randomly inserted NFL Men’s Lifestyle cards featuring fashion apparel worn by Denver Broncos Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller.
The cards are bonus hits in the product and are featured in both hobby and retail SKUs. Miller’s fashionable appearance in 2016 Playoff Football features one of his Denver Broncos ’47 Black Alpha Hoodies. He will appear on two additional cards in the retail-only 2016 Rookies & Stars Football featuring his ’47 Camo Alpha T-shirt and his ’47 Gray Lockdown Reglan 3/4-Sleeve T-shirt. Fans and collectors can check out the complete NFL Men’ Lifestyle line at the NFL Shop website.
“The objective of the NFL’s Men’s Lifestyle campaign is to strengthen and grow our relationship with the League’s male fan base, and continue to coach them on how to style NFL apparel for all occasions,” said Bernie Gutierrez of NFL Consumer Products. “This campaign provides our athlete ambassadors the opportunity to be viewed beyond football players to fashion influencers.”
Here’s a quick recap of the back of Miller’s 2016 Playoff Football NFL Men’s Lifestyle card:
“Off the field, Denver Broncos linebacker and NFL Men’s Lifestyle Ambassador Von Miller transforms his team’s lifestyle apparel into an everyday fashion piece, while influencing Broncos and NFL fans to show off their team pride outside of game day.”
