Teaser Gallery: Panini America Breaks Four Boxes of 2016 Elite Extra Edition Baseball

December 13, 2016

It wasn’t like Panini America’s popular Elite Extra Edition Baseball franchise needed a radical overhaul. For the better part of the past 13 years, the product has endeared itself to prospectors looking for early trading cards and autographs of baseball’s future superstars. But after years of more-traditional packaging and value configurations, Panini America’s Baseball Product Development team set out to boldly remake the brand for 2016. The results, as you’ll see below, are quite impressive.

Gone are the venerable 20-pack boxes delivering roughly six autographs per. In their place? Five-pack boxes delivering 25 total cards including 10 autograph or memorabilia cards. In the must-see Teaser Gallery that follows, we open four early boxes of the revamped 2016 Elite Extra Edition Baseball to give you an idea of what to expect at the box level.

As you discovered in last week’s Quality Control Gallery, 2016 Elite Extra Edition Baseball delivers the first baseball autographs of Tim Tebow. But it also delivers so much more. See for yourself amid the imagery that follows and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage.

This is one of my favorite Panini Baseball products. Always packed with value and has a solid design.

Hope to be able to bust some!
