The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2016-17 Gold Standard Basketball

December 29, 2016

For many basketball collectors with certain gilded goals, the Golden Age of hoops collecting started just six years ago. That’s when Panini America first introduced the popular Gold Standard Basketball franchise that’s been unearthing bona fide collecting nuggets every year since. That streak looks to continue tomorrow with the arrival of 2016-17 Gold Standard Basketball.

With its trademark gold-brick packaging, golden design elements and the return of calling-card inclusions such as hard-signed Single-, Dual- and Triple-Memorabilia Rookie Cards, White Gold and Veteran Player Variations, 2016-17 Gold Standard Basketball promises to continue enhancing the brand’s golden reputation.

In the Quality Control Gallery below, we offer a revealing first look at at the product as it appeared during last week’s packout process. While the following gallery doesn’t showcase everything this year’s release has in store, it does offer a glimmering glimpse. Enjoy the imagery and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage.

I wished this would make a football return as well. I like Black Gold a lot, but add in this to. Gold Standard always provided some nice looking cards.

Another excellent edition of Gold Standard, big fan of the on card AU autograph set. Thanks Tracy!
