Teaser Gallery: Panini America Breaks Four Early Boxes of 2016 Select Football

March 2, 2017

Panini America’s action-packed week in the NFL trading card spotlight that began in earnest yesterday with the release of 2016 Honors Football continues tomorrow with the arrival of the colorful, captivating 2016 Select Football. Yesterday’s extensive Quality Control Gallery provided a deep dive into a little bit of everything this year’s Select Football brand has to offer. Today, we take a more granular glance by going pack by pack through four early boxes of the product in advance of tomorrow’s release day.

On average, each box of 2016 Select Football will deliver two autographs, one memorabilia card, 14 Prizm parallels (including at least three numbered to 49 or less), one 2017 NFL Draft XRC card and lots of rookies. You’ll also get a better understanding in the gallery that follows of just how the three-tiered base set (Concourse, Premier and Field Level) plays out.

Enjoy the early look and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage.

Thanks for the great viewing. Those Patriots cards
Are amazing. I think the last Select product I bought was 1993 to chase the Bledsoe RCs. Now I may try a box. Thanks again.

so whats the deal with the XRC.. are they just gonna be a regular base card of the player in his uniform after the draft?

Great question. I don’t have the answer to that, but assuming it could be from Draft Night or a college shot.
