Redemption Cards for Oversized Autographs Add Big Boost to 2016 Encased Football

March 8, 2017

Panini America 2016 Encased Football Oversized Redemptions7 Blog

Over the course of the last few months, much has been made about Panini America’s 2016 Encased Football product, a new creation that delivers one BGS-graded, hard-signed rookie autograph card (along with an additional autograph and two memorabilia cards) in every five-card box. One aspect of the program that hasn’t necessarily been discussed? The inclusion of rare redemption cards good for oversized autographed pieces from legends such as Walter Payton, Johnny Unitas, Red Grange, Pop Warner and many more.

The rare artifacts are safely slabbed and stored inside Panini America HQ and are ready to be redeemed — they just didn’t fit within 2016 Encased Football’s packaging configuration. In the small preview gallery below, we showcase some of the items that were inserted into this unique program. Enjoy the sneak peek.

Man, I’d love to pull one of those. Things like this make card collecting even more fun. It is the most expensive hobby, but also, the most enjoyable.
