If you weren’t tuned in to Panini America’s Facebook page earlier today, you missed an epic sit-down interview with David and Danny Mantle, sons of the legendary Mickey Mantle. The interview was conducted on Facebook Live and as of 4 p.m. CST had reached more than 540,000 people. But just in case you missed it, you can check it out in its entirety below.

It’s absolutely must-see stuff filled with poignant, personal stories about Mickey from two men who knew him better than anyone. During the video, the Mantle brothers crack a few boxes of 2017 Diamond Kings Baseball and show off a few precious pieces of Mantle memorabilia. There’s also a chance for fans and collectors to win one of four Panini Eternal Mickey Mantle cards.

I really enjoyed the video with David & Daniel Mantle, it was very entertaining hearing stories about Mickey from his two sons, looking forward to seeing the products yall come up with, I followed Mickey since the early 60’s, he was a great player and one of my all time favorites, I will be purchasing the products when they come out.

Tremendous video, I had the pleasure of meeting the Mick before he passed and I’ll always remember the look on my father’s face when he addressed us. Can’t wait to see more big news about Mantle’s inclusion in future Panini America baseball releases, thanks Tracy!

Nice interview – enjoyed the stories about Mickey and some of his fellow players especially George Brett (my personal favorite). Always nice to hear what someone like Mantle thought of other players and to find out a little more about what he was like himself. Look forward to seeing the new products with Mantle.
