As 2017 MLB Draft Arrives, Panini America Showcases Key Cards of Top Picks

June 12, 2017

This evening in Secaucus, N.J., the 2017 MLB Draft will get underway as baseball welcomes its next class of future stars into the fold. Tonight’s activities will feature the first round, Competitive Balance Round A, second round and Competitive Balance Round B. The draft’s remaining 38 rounds will take place Tuesday and Wednesday.

But the primary focus will be placed on tonight’s festivities, when some of the biggest prospects in the game — including Hunter Greene, Brendan McKay, Kyle Wright and more — will discover just where their big-league careers will begin. And as you keep track of all of tonight’s picks, know this: Most of the headliners in this year’s draft already have several trading card options to choose from thanks to Panini America’s exclusive relationship with USA Baseball.

As you prepare to take in the first night of the 2017 MLB Draft, Panini America’s Ben Ecklar has put together some information that should provide something of a baseball card collector’s guide to the proceedings.

Here’s what Ecklar put together:
