An Inkling: Panini America Offers Details on Ink-Color SPs in 2017 Prestige Football

June 14, 2017

Ink Color

Now that Panini America’s 2017 Prestige Football has enjoyed the luxury of a solid week on the marketplace, company officials are prepared to pull the curtain back ever so slightly on the ink-color SPs permeating 2017 Prestige Football’s Draft Day Signatures insert. The hard-signed cards were completed during the 2017 NFLPA Rookie Premiere and were signed using five different ink colors.

On overage, Draft Day Signatures fall roughly three per 12-box hobby case. But go beyond sheer drop rates and you’ll find that many ink-color variations are even tougher than that. Get more information after the jump.

Black or Blue Ink: 89 or fewer copies for each player
Red Ink: 25 or fewer copies of each player
Green Ink: 10 or fewer copies of each player
Silver Ink: Five copies of each player
Gold Ink: One copy of each player
