Teaser Gallery: Panini America Opens Three Early Boxes of 2017 Donruss Elite Football

June 27, 2017

Panini America 2017 Donruss Elite Football Teaser3

You won’t find many NFL trading card products with more staying power . . . more tradition . . . deeper roots . . . and a more loyal following than Panini America’s Donruss Elite Football. It’s been a category staple for more than 20 years with a litany of landmark inclusions (Passing the Torch Autographs, Throwback Threads, Aspirations and Status parallels) to prove it. But the fabled brand took a year off in 2015 so company officials could revamp the brand.

The result was a 2016 Donruss Elite Football product that struck a major chord with longtime Elitists and newcomers alike. 2017 marks year two of the new-look Donruss Elite and it appears that the product is only getting better with age. If yesterday’s Quality Control Gallery didn’t convince you of that fact, perhaps the following Teaser Gallery will.

We just ripped three early boxes of 2017 Donruss Elite Football in advance of tomorrow’s highly anticipated release date. The images that follow take you pack by pack through the process. On average, each hobby box will deliver two autographs (including one on-card) and one memorabilia card. Enjoy the early look and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage.

I liked those inserts better than the autos. That Mahomes, 2/2 Matt Ryan, But the double Pin Pal and Mike Williams are nice too.

Out of all the impressive elements on display here I’m most enthused by the images of the 2017 class in their pro uniforms. Thanks for the break Tracy!
