The Inscriptionator: Witty NASCAR Veteran Landon Cassill Rewards Panini Collectors

June 28, 2017

Landon Cassill Main copy

Let’s begin with the bad news: NASCAR driver Landon Cassill returned his autographed trading cards for 2017 Torque NASCAR Racing just a little too late for packout into the product. The good news, of course, is just about everything else associated with the late delivery. As it turns out, the 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year is more than just a driver when it comes to his autographs. He’s more like The Inscriptionator.

He likes turtles. He loves Love’s (one of his sponsors). He wants to win. He wants you to stay in school . . . and to stay true. He thinks you rock. He knows Jesus loves you. And he’s not the least bit embarrassed to admit that he’s had an . . . um . . . “accident” in his firesuit. That’s the short list of learnings from Cassill’s recent Panini America signing session, easily the most inscription-enhanced we’ve ever seen. It’s fun. It’s revealing. And it’s sure to turn many new fans and collectors into Cassill collectors.

Although the cards arrived too late for inclusion in 2017 Torque NASCAR Racing that released in hobby shops across North America earlier today, the unique Cassill cards are available now while supplies last through the Panini Rewards site. Specific inscriptions aren’t guaranteed but the cards are likely to go fast.

We’ve provided a small gallery of just some of the different inscriptions below. Enjoy . . .

Always wondered how long it would take before somebody did something like this

I think you should show this gallery to some of your other signers who get a bit stingy with the ink, this is more like it! Thanks Tracy!
