Instant Impact: Cards of Top NBA Rookies in Uniform Available Now on Panini Instant

August 10, 2017

Panini NBA Rookie Photo Shoot Instant

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Panini America officials plan to make the most of the next three days at the 2017 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot by capturing the compelling content (autographs, memorabilia, photography, video and more) that will drive the company’s NBA trading card products for the entire 2017-18 season and beyond. And a big part of the company’s plans will be using the Panini Instant platform to deliver a new innovation to one of the most important events of the year: Real-time Panini Instant cards featuring, for the first time, the 40 rookies in attendance in their NBA uniforms.

One by one, players will make their way tomorrow to the Panini Instant station inside the Madison Square Garden Training Facility to pose for their Instant imagery. Within minutes, photos will be shot, designs will be completed and cards will be revealed in real-time on the Panini Instant platform. But the cards will be available to pre-order beginning at 2 p.m. today.

Throughout the day tomorrow, the silhouette sample images will be replaced with images of finished cards. Each of the 40 cards will be available in a base version and limited-edition versions numbered to 10 (Green) and only one (Black). The cards will be available for a limited time and the rare parallel versions will likely go quickly — so check the Panini Instant site beginning at 2 p.m. today.

Stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance, Panini Instant and the Panini America social feeds tomorrow as we unveil each player’s first NBA card in real-time. Until then, here’s the preliminary 40-player checklist:
