For the upcoming 2017-18 Select Basketball release, Panini America Product Development officials are returning the best assets of past Select Basketball releases (such as the always-popular Tie-Dye Prizms, three-tiered base set and key autograph memorabilia Rookie Cards) while also delivering a wildly striped twist that first debuted in 2017 Select Soccer (Zebra Prizms). The result, however, is a colorful creation that is distinctly Select.

Set to arrive in hobby shops across North America in early March, each hobby box of 2017-18 Select Basketball (five cards per pack, 12 packs per box, 12 boxes per case) will deliver, on average, three autograph or memorabilia cards, 12 Prizm parallels, 10 Premier Level base cards and two Courtside base cards. The 300-card base set is broken into three 100-card tiers (Concourse, Premier Level and Courtside).

The highlights of 2017-18 Select Basketball are many and include . . .

  • Unique Base, Premier Level, and Courtside Prizm Parallels, including Tie-Dye (numbered to 25), Gold (numbered to 10), Green (numbered to five), Black (numbered to only one) and the debut of ultra rare Zebra Prizms.
  • Rookie Jersey Autographs showcasing the 2017 NBA Draft Class; find Prime versions featuring Tie-Dye, Gold and Black Prizm parallels.
  • On-card autographs in the Signatures, In Flight Signatures and Rookie Signatures inserts.
  • Eye-catching inserts such as Slash and Dash, Phenomenon, All-World, Sparks and more.

We’ll have much more on 2017-18 Select Basketball in the coming weeks. But until then, enjoy this extended sneak peek:
