Panini America 2017-18 Contenders Basketball Teaser28

Today promises to be hoops heavy in hobby shops across North America as Panini America releases both 2017-18 Contenders Basketball and 2017-18 Prestige Basketball. We’ve provided Quality Control Gallery previews for both products in recent days here on The Knight’s Lance as a means of broad introduction. Today, we’re taking you directly to the box level with a few must-see Teaser Gallery posts, beginning with Contenders.

Contenders Basketball makes its triumphant return to the hardwood following a four-year hiatus and the time away has only intensified interest in the product. And judging by early feedback from the marketplace, 2017-18 Contenders Basketball is primed for a spectacular comeback performance. On average, each hobby box of 2017-18 Contenders Basketball (10 cards per pack, 12 packs per box, 12 boxes per case) will deliver two autographs (including one rookie autograph).

In the following gallery, we take you pack by pack through four boxes of the product. Enjoy the preview.

You can order 2017-18 Contenders Basketball now at the official online store of Panini America.

Why does Panini Contenders basketball cost the same as Contenders football with only 2 autos per box while football has 5 to 6 per box? Makes no sense.
