Panini Honoring Patrick Mahomes all season long with highlight-filled Patrick Mahomes Autograph Collection

A lot can happen in four years. Like . . . a LOT.

Especially if you’re an otherworldly talent like, say, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The last time Mahomes certified autographs appeared in Panini America products in 2020, he was a one-time Super Bowl champion and NFL MVP still navigating a path into the GOAT conversation. Four years later, he’s a three-time Super Bowl champion, three-time Super Bowl MVP and a two-time league MVP who’s firmly entrenched himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Period. In the last four seasons he’s thrown for 18,200 more yards and 131 more touchdowns. But perhaps most importantly for the trading card industry, his autographs have, at long last, returned to Panini America products for the 2025 season.

Although Mahomes autographs will be featured throughout Panini America’s 2025 product roster, there’s one special chase in particular that should have big-ticket completists on a furious, season-long pursuit. The cut-across Patrick Mahomes Autograph Collection is a rare 25-card, cross-brand autograph insert that will be dropped – one card at a time – into products, with the first three falling in 2025 Certified Football, 2025 Origins Football and 2025 Absolute Football, respectively. Each card in the set, which thoroughly chronicles Mahomes’ spectacular career so far, is signed on-card by Mahomes and limited to 20 copies or less. In all, 23 of the 25 cards will be dropped into products throughout the season; two additional cards will be sold directly to consumers via the Panini Instant platform.

The first three cards released will be #PM-AFC4 in 2025 Origins Football (celebrating the Chiefs 2024 AFC title), #PM-TDPASS2 in 2025 Certified Football (honoring Mahomes’ 2022 touchdown-pass crown) and #PM-SBMVP2 (honoring Mahomes winning Super Bowl LVII MVP hardware).

The two Panini Instant-exclusive cards are #PM-DRAFT (featuring a youthful Mahomes at the 2017 Rookie Premiere) and #PM-LHP (remembering perhaps Mahomes’ most noteworthy lefthanded pass).
