Unrivaled basketball hit big in 2026. From sell-out tour stops in Philadelphia and Brooklyn to a thrilling schedule to loads of highlights, the league’s sophomore season reached heights that brought 3-on-3 hoops to the mainstream.

The supremely successful campaign closed with a free throw. In the Finals, Breanna Stewart delivered a walk-off swish from the stripe to drop the confetti and start the Mist’s championship celebration. She scored a team-best 32 points, just enough for her squad to hold off Kelsey Plum (40 points) and the Phantom.

Coming off a promising debut in 2025, Unrivaled grew both in size and popularity. Two fresh teams (Breeze and Hive) arrived for 2026, along with a rich crop of new players. Speaking of players, they were the ones who really launched the league skyward.

Marina Mabrey led all scorers with 25.3 points per contest. Plum, Chelsea Gray and Paige Bueckers made the All-Unrivaled First Team, while bigs like Aliyah Boston and Dominique Malonga dominated down low. Nearly every hooper in the league is a fan favorite, and most of them had at least one time to shine in 2026.

The league’s format was a welcomed change of pace, helping it become an instant hit among longtime hoops followers and newcomer fans alike. The smaller court, 18-second shot clock and 7-minute quarters, along with the “winning score” feature that lets every matchup end on a game-winner, gave the league an elevated freshness. All that, along with the timing that corresponded with the overall rise of women’s basketball, helped Unrivaled thrive.

With the surge of popularity came the question, “Where are the cards?” Well, they’re here. In fact, they’ve been here. Panini Instant pumped out Unrivaled cards throughout the regular season and playoffs, celebrating the biggest moments and most memorable performances of the campaign. The latest batch included the aforementioned showings from Stewart and Plum, putting their top-notch championship efforts into collectible form.

This wasn’t a one-time thing either. Back in January, Panini and Unrivaled launched a multi-year exclusive agreement that made Panini the official home of the league’s trading cards. So as the 3-on-3 league continues to climb, Panini will be there with collectibles showcasing players across every team. Look out for future releases that’ll help fans bring their favorite Unrivaled stars into their homes as marquee additions to their collection.
