Celebrate Pigskin Season with 2026 Panini Obsidian Football

Written by: Isaiah Lucas

Summer is winding down, fields are getting mowed, and paint schemes are being installed as action on the gridiron is about to take over most of the week for the next four-plus months. Alongside the sport, Panini Obsidian Football returns for 2026, boasting its trademark blend of dark Opti-Chrome aesthetics in both Hobby and Hobby First Off the Line variations. This year’s release features some of the top players from collegiate contests alongside the best that the professional league offers.

From a deep checklist of ballers, look for headliners like Drew Brees, Gunner Stockton, Bo Jackson and Julian Sayin, who also graces the outer packaging of 2026 Panini Obsidian Football.

Case hits like Black Color Blast and Black Stained Glass combine with a robust autograph roster filled with rising stars, modern icons and retired legends to match the excitement of what goes down between the pylons for 60 minutes at a time.
