A Pre-Ink Peek at 2015 Immaculate Football Reveals Memorabilia Gems Aplenty

Perhaps for many enjoying Monday off, yesterday's Labor Day holiday likely obscured another important milestone: The official start to Week 1 of the 2015 NFL season. Granted, the first game won't arrive until Thursday night, when the defending champion New England Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers -- but for all intents and purposes, the 2015 NFL season is upon us.

Perhaps for many enjoying Monday off, yesterday’s Labor Day holiday likely obscured another important milestone: The official start to Week 1 of the 2015 NFL season. Granted, the first game won’t arrive until Thursday night, when the defending champion New England Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers — but for all intents and purposes, the 2015 NFL season is upon us.

And for many of us here at Panini America HQ, that amounts to a national holiday deserving of a weeklong celebration. Truth be told, it actually amounts to a season-long celebration. But we’ll get to that as the weeks progress. Today, we’re going to kickoff Week 1 like only we can: With an early pre-ink peek at just some of the gems coming later this season to Panini America’s 2015 Immaculate Football.

If you happen to be friends with us on Facebook, you probably already got a sneak peek of the images below in an exclusive Facebook gallery that we posted last week. But if you didn’t see it last week, then you’re in for a treat. And if you did, well, we think you’ll agree that the following images are worth revisiting.

Among the stunners you’ll see below are some hot-off-the-presses veteran superstar and rookie memorabilia cards that already are on their way to the respective athletes on them for autographs. The next time you see these, here’s hoping they’ll be hard-signed. Enjoy the gallery and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage.

  1. Love them! Didn’t expect to see Amendola with a bunch of rookies and HOFers, but not gonna complain! That’s one awesome card. Almost as nice as the one on the sidebar.

I just don’t see the point of the acetate on the rookie ones. Adds nothing and makes the signatures more likely to look faded.

Great, great designs on these, though.

  2. Oh wow, that Luck is amazing. The Colts don’t often have more than a 2-color blue/white patch so that is clearly a standout card.I have an 07 Peyton Manning Limited patch with a similar commemorative swatch, easily one of my favorite cards in my collection. Thanks Tracy!
