While most collectors around the country have spent their weekends enjoying local card shows, heated playoff action in the NBA and NHL or scouring online auction sites and message boards for cards on their wantlists, Panini America NBA Brand Managers have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on one of the most anticipated products of the year: 2012-13 Crusade Basketball.
The Quality Control process for Crusade began Friday, and continued bright and early Saturday morning as David Porter, Keith Hower, Cory Hollingsworth and Wes Elliott scrutinized several early boxes of the product to make sure everything was as it should be in advance of the product shipping to hobby shops across the country beginning tomorrow.
We’ll have a complete Quality Control Gallery from the process in the next few days, but we simply couldn’t live with ourselves if we didn’t share some of the preliminary findings from 2012-13 Crusade Basketball with you as soon as possible.
What follows are just some of the early hits from the weekend QC process, highlighted by a jaw-dropping assortment of the product’s namesake Crusade inserts as well as some autographs, memorabilia cards and base cards.
Enjoy this early look and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for a more comprehensive examination of 2012-13 Crusade Basketball early next week.
LOVING The Prizm Technology taken to the next level.
Nice and sick looking Card!
VERY Interesting Tracy! !
Those cards look great–can’t wait to share them with Wax Czar customers!
I am ready to score some big hits with this product. I have been looking forward to this for months now and I have not been this excited sense the first year of gold standard.
Hey Tracy, how much is this product and what does a box contain? Thanks buddy! Looks GORGEOUS! Can’t wait for this and Gold Standard!
the purple on the john wall looks really cool.. would be interested to see a whole card in that color.. i hope derrick rose is on the checklist!
Oh, he is.
Great looking preview, I like the design of the Majestic jumbo materials. Thanks Tracy!
Loving the color scheme on these with the shine. Very nice
I aM really liking the shift in Panini products in general to a more rectangular swatch piece (rather than square). Seen them displayed vertically and horizontally and they just look fresh. Also, this sure does bring back the memories!!!
those cards look sick i love the colors of the cards another great job by panini america
