Appreciate Youngsters and Legends Alike in 2023 Contenders Optic Football

The long wait is finally over, as Panini’s 2023 Contenders Optic Football is here. One of the top collections for fans everywhere, this release features players that made the 2023 season one of the most memorable in recent memory. From stunning rookie cards to brilliant superstars and even retired legends, there’s something for every collector to look for.

Last season, multiple first-year stars announced their arrival in a big way. Puka Nacua torched secondaries on a weekly basis, while Bijan Robinson juked defenders out of their cleats. Those studs, and other key youngsters, are scattered across sets like Rookie Ticket Autographs and Rookie Patch Autographs – both of which are one-per-case chases.

Of course, rookies weren’t the only ones who left jaws on the ground with their proclivity for highlight-reel plays. Joining them were a plethora of established superstars. From QBs like Jordan Love and Justin Herbert dropping dimes all over the field, to playmakers such as Justin Jefferson and Deebo Samuel putting up video-game numbers each Sunday.

Those players are following in the footsteps of those that came before them. Fortunately for anyone adding this release to their growing collection, legends are throughout Contenders Optic Football. Search for autographs from all-time greats such as Bo Jackson, Cris Carter and Eli Manning, among others.

Each case will include, on average, one Rookie Patch Autograph, one case-hit insert (one from: Induction Ticket Autographs, Legitness or Now Contending) and four additional inserts from a lineup that includes Up and Coming, Optic Illusions, Splitting Image, Lottery Ticket and First Class Ticket.
