In addition to representatives from Panini America and GTS Distribution (who worked on the planning of the event and helped invite more than 100 hobby shops), the guest list for the inaugural Panini America NFLPA Hobby Event also includes 10 top rookies from the 2014 NFL Draft.

Scheduled to headline the event just two days before the 2014 NFLPA Rookie Premiere are No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney, fellow top-five selections Blake Bortles and Sammy Watkins, and first-rounders Odell Beckham and Kelvin BejnaminMarqise LeeJimmy GaroppoloTajh BoydBishop Sankey and Austin Seferian-Jenkins will also appear to interact with the hobby shop owners in attendance, to sign autographs and to participate in a unique round table discussion.
“The NFLPA Rookie Premiere is one of the most important events on our calendar every year, and that is especially true this season given the dynamic, talented 2014 rookie class,” said Jason Howarth, Panini America Vice President of Marketing. “We’re honored to be able to work with the NFLPA to bring these top rookies to this special hobby event and to work with GTS Distribution and their customers, who will benefit all season long from Panini America NFL trading cards featuring this 2014 rookie class.”
As a precursor to the NFLPA Rookie Premiere Q&A session Thursday, Panini America officials will help GTS Distribution kick off a customer appreciation event that will include a corporate presentation and case-break events before turning the floor over to the 10 star rookies for a fun, informal question-and-answer session.

  1. Sounds like a fun event. My LCS, The Bullpen 2.0 in Marina Del Rey wasn’t invited though. Very disappointed that one of the few Los Angeles based shops wasn’t invited as I’ve always bought my Panini football cards there for the past 2+ years.

  2. It would be great if some items signed at this event could be used as prizes for future Knight’s Lance, Twitter, or Facebook contests.
