Bengals RB Jeremy Hill Claims Week 9 2014 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week Honors
Voters on NFL.com have made their choice. Running Back Jeremy Hill of the Cincinnati Bengals is the Week 9 2014 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week, the NFL announced today. Hill rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries in the Bengals’ 33-23 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Hill was selected from among five finalists through fan votes on NFL.com. The other Week 9 finalists included Cleveland Browns wide receiver Taylor Gabriel, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns and San Francisco 49ers linebacker Chris Borland.
After the regular season, five players will be nominated for 2014 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. In conjunction with the 2014 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week promotion, Panini America produces virtual trading cards of each week’s five nominees and a virtual card for each week’s winner.
