Panini Authentic New Andrew Luck June 12 (11)

Last month inside Indianapolis’ Collector’s DenPanini Authentic and Colts quarterback Andrew Luck joined forces for the superstar’s first Indy public signing, a sold-out, fan-packed affair that generated priceless interactions, fond memories and several heirloom-quality collectibles. You can check out some of the highlights from the event in the video below.

But it’s the stuff you won’t see on the video that likely will resonate the most with hardcore, higher-end Luck fans. Prior to Luck’s public signing, Panini Authentic officials sat with him for a small private session that resulted in some of the most fascinating Luck memorabilia created so far in his exclusive relationship with the company. You can see exactly what we mean after the jump.

Among the most impressive items Luck signed and inscribed during the session? Pairs of cleats he wore during the 2014 season in games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Washington Redskins, and his game-worn helmet from last September’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. These extremely rare pieces of history were added to the Panini Authentic website yesterday afternoon and are available now.

Other pieces Luck signed last month include a “Colts Nation!” jersey and two new 16-by-20 photographs — “Underway” featuring a dramatic pre-game introduction and “Break Free” showcasing Luck’s trademark athleticism. You can check out all of the new additions to the Panini Authentic Andrew Luck collection in the gallery below or on the Panini Authentic website.

But before we get to the images, here’s the aforementioned video from Luck’s first public signing in Indianapolis.
