For millions of rabid World Cup collectors across the globe, the Panini Sticker Collection is must-have material; a feel-good family affair that spans generations and ranks up there with breathing and eating as daily requirements for several months every four years. Of course, all of this World Cup excitement this week got us at Panini America thinking about another 2014 FIFA World Cup collection generating a fair amount of buzz in its own right: The 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Prizm trading card set.

We’ve been noticeably quiet on the Prizm World Cup front since our initial announcement in late February. But a lot has happened in the last six weeks or so. A slew of collection-making autographs from superstars and legends has been returned. The first 100-card form has been designed and printed, complete with an absolutely stunning array of colorful parallels. In fact, when we first caught a glimpse of that first form, we simply couldn’t wait to show it off.
So that’s what we’re going to do today. What you’re about to see is the first form of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Prizm set — and all of its parallels — in their glorious uncut-sheet form. Keep in mind that this is just the base-card form. In the coming days and weeks, we’ll share more sneak peeks of the insert sets and autographs right here on The Knight’s Lance.
But for now, feast your eyes on these beauties . . .

  1. Great Googly Moogly!! You all need to be checked out by CDC! You keep creating these WORLDWIDE SUPER SICK VIRALLY INFECTIOUS PANDEMICS Called PANINI Cards and the only cure is to Bust Boxes!! Man these cards are gorgeous! I don’t follow/Collect Futeball/Football/Soccer but I will be after seeing these!

  2. Please bring some of these colored parallels to basketball!! These are some of the nicest cards I’ve seen Panini make, no joke.

  3. The list of players who signed for this set is amazing…any word yet on whether there will be a set number of autographs per box or per case?

  4. Oh my god…..Cant wait for this….Going for players from IRAN 🙂 Tracy Hackler, hope there are more than the 2 players i saw in those photos 😉
    Awesome lookin cards,welldone….

  5. Have all the autographs from the initial checklist been confirmed? I saw one with a couple TBD, including Neymar. Also, is Maradona in as an autograph, as initial images showed?

  6. I’d like to see Panini do another mixed sport release including my 2 favorite “non-major” sports with MMA and Pro darts. I’d love to get a Phil Taylor or Michael van Gerwen autograph! Thanks Tracy!

  7. But you can pull some really low no. Prizms form Messi, CR7, etc. much better than a crappy Auto from weak Team. Don´t be so focused on the Autos, there many great cards without an auto. But there also very cool autos indeed.

  8. I can tell you dealers are reporting getting between 3 to 6 autographs per case . people are fools they are busting cases and dumping it in lots on the bay I have spent the last few days snatching up everything I can that is not a base or a autograph I will have them on my site.
