No matter what show-related developments transpire between now and when the 2013 Toronto Fall Expo begins on November 8, it's hard to imagine a bigger announcement than this one: NHL legend Eric Lindros will attend the Panini VIP party that Saturday night in Toronto. We'll give that a second to set in before we take you to the next paragraph.
No matter what show-related developments transpire between now and when the 2013 Toronto Fall Expo begins on November 8, it’s hard to imagine a bigger announcement than this one: NHL legend Eric Lindros will attend the Panini VIP party that Saturday night in Toronto. We’ll give that a second to set in before we take you to the next paragraph.
Over the course of 15 storied seasons with four different teams, Lindros, the first overall selection in the 1991 NHL Draft, became one of the most beloved hockey players of all time. He was a six-time All-Star who recorded 865 career points in 760 games. Lindros earned the Hart Memorial Trophy for a 1994-95 season during which he tallied 70 points in just 46 games. One year later he enjoyed the best season of his career: 47 goals, 68 assists and a staggering 115 points.
Lindros has maintained a relatively low profile since retiring after the 2006-07 season and his rare presence at the Panini VIP Party is sure to create enough buzz and memories to last a lifetime. Stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for the announcement of additional Panini VIP Party guests in the coming days.
When will you provide details on the wrapper redemption base set and other goodies available at the expo?
In the coming days.
Hard not grinning ear to ear over this one.
I was just there eating 17 pounds of poutine in 10 minutes. Time to get back in my car…
What products are going to be eligible for the VIP program?
Drop by the Breakaway booth (602-603) for your Panini redemption products!
Big announcement, he was a stellar player and definitely a guy who had an impact on the hobby when he first broke onto the scene. Thanks Tracy!
Just be glad the event wasn’t in Quebec…
Cool!
So, how does this work? I buy $5k worth of products from a dealer? Or direct through Panini?
From an approved dealer at the show, yes sir. Come see us at the booth next week for details.
