For decades, the hobby of collecting sports trading cards primarily focused on the pros. Now, through Panini’s growing NIL profile, the hobby is spreading to the collegiate ranks. With that comes 2024–25 Panini The Ohio State University NIL.
There’s certainly something for all types of Buckeyes to enjoy, as it features both current athletes and campus legends across a handful of men’s and women’s sports. Whether you’re into the roar of the crowd at a football game or the complexity of a perfect gymnastic routine, your interest will be represented inside this must-have program.
Each hobby box features six packs of six cards. Look for two autographs, two parallels, one Prizm Camo and one Diamond Plate, on average! This will be a redemption-free product. Among the signature slate will be a bevy of dual-auto cards, featuring current teammates, past duos, as well as stars that may have not played together.
There is one card in particular that will be extremely sought after. This being a 1-of-1 dual auto featuring two of the best Buckeyes to ever grace the gridiron. The beauty features Archie Griffin, who remains the only player to ever win the Heisman Trophy twice, paired with Jeremiah Smith, a superstar with a chance to lift the award himself. There are no variations of this card. Only one will be found, and it could be yours.

Sticking with football, you can search for striking cards featuring Eddie George, Julian Sayin, Will Howard, Troy Smith and Quinshon Judkins. Across the impressive checklist of non-gridiron sports, you can look for cards from OSU greats and future stars like Jacy Sheldon and Katie Smith (women’s basketball), Greg Oden (men’s basketball), James Hong (men’s ice hockey), Ava Shankle (volleyball) and Blaine Wynk (baseball).
