Little-known fact: Just two days before Cincinnati Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips belted a two-run, sixth-inning homer yesterday in support of teammate Homer Bailey’s second career no-hitter, he was rubbing elbows with Panini America Baseball Acquisitions Manager Tone Stakes in a posh Dallas-area resort hotel.

Actually, to be fair, they weren’t so much rubbing elbows as they were conducting hardcore baseball-card business. In addition to procuring a Phillips game-used bat and delivering stickers for him to sign for upcoming Panini America products like 2013 Pinnacle Baseball and 2013 Prizm Baseball, Stakes also landed a fun, revealing “Five Questions” interview with the Reds star that you can watch below.

Oh, there was one other benefit of the weekend business meeting, and it’s one that Phillips Tweeted about on Monday night:

You see that sweet 2012 Prizm Baseball card in the picture Phillips Tweeted? The one autographed by Phillips and inscribed with his @DatDudeBP Twitter handle?

Well, we’re giving you a chance to win it.

To be eligible, all you have to do is follow Panini America on Twitter (if you don’t already) and watch Stakes’ interview with Phillips. After you’ve watched it, tell us, as a comment to this post, what Phillips’ favorite song is right now and leave your Twitter handle in your comment, too.

Your deadline for entry is 11:59 p.m. Friday (July 5). Good luck and enjoy the interview.
