LAS VEGAS — Now that the 2014 Industry Summit officially has come to a close, it’s time to take a quick look back at just how dynamic Panini America’s presence was. From a dominant green performance on a distinctly Rated Rookie St. Patrick’s Day to three days full of sneak peeks, case breaks, panel discussions and more, it’s obvious that Panini America kept the collectibles industry buzzing throughout the Summit.

Clearly, though, Panini America saved its most powerful punch for Tuesday’s Corporate Address from inside a rapt Orleans Showroom — where Panini America CEO Mark Warsop delivered the bombshell news that the company would be launching the Panini Rewards Program with the late-May release of 2014 Score Football. For the knockout punch, Panini America welcomed UFC lightweight contender Myles “Fury” Jury on stage to sign autographs and to help deliver the company’s coveted Black Boxes.

To be sure, it was another show-stealing performance for Panini America. You can check out just some of the highlights in the gallery that follows. After that, be sure to check out the video that details Jury’s appearance.

Here’s the gallery of highlights . . .

  1. Nice, the legendary Black boxes. Some rare boxes end up on Ebay for 350 bucks. Some people just wonder how they can get a hold of that green t-shirt. Was funny how so many had it on at the other card companies presentations. Sweet!

  2. Awesome, great job…… I wish I could’ve been there along with many others, the boys would of loved getting there hands on some of those boxes.

  3. they should focus on making a good product with some value.. instead of having a party and giving away items and letting youtube breakers break case of NT a week early…
I own a shop and just cancelled my 3 cases of NT football because of this … $4500 dollars… ill pass…

  4. This was THE BEST Summit EVER and Panini America had a lot to do with making The Summit successful. I really appreciate the Panini Summit Arrival Pack, Panini Black Box and meeting Myles Jury. However, face to face access with Panini leadership and staff and the opportunity to discuss the future of the hobby is the reason I go to The Summit.

The Panini Customer Rewards Program and other product changes prove that Panini America listens to customers and is committed to enhancing the collecting experience. I look forward to 2014 Panini America products. Keep up the good work.

  5. Yes indeed, I can’t wait to see how the redemptions are going to work with the rewards program, just happy that Panini is taking the lead on this issue and trying to make it better for its customers, think we all appreciate that Tracy!

  6. U all ever think of making NT affordable or attainable for everyone? Meaning like a NT light pack containing one hit card for 20-30 bucks, like a hobby pack or retail pack of NT where a collector could take a $20-30 gamble, so many of us love NT cards but boxes and cases are hard on budget, group breaks are good way to land NT cards too. lmk thanks

  7. Excellent interview with Myles, I hope you got him to sign some cards for future releases as he only has one certified autographed card to date. After his most recent win his values are on the rise for sure. I’d love to know where I can find one of those sweet black Panini shirts you guys were wearing too. Thanks Tracy!
