Of course, that also means that fans, collectors and speculators will have a good five-hour window to acquire the cards by pick number instead of player, which certainly could make things interesting. Be sure to check the Panini Instant website beginning tomorrow at 2 p.m. for additional details.

Following the first round, Panini Instant will reserve 15 “wild card” slots for key players selected during the second and third days of the 2017 NFL Draft.

  1. Cool idea. I wish you would seriously consider changing that BRIGHT YELLOW logo to something more muted. My 2 cents. I’ll be watching for the Packers pick. Go Pack Go!!!

  2. This is a great way for collectors to interact with the events of the draft in real time, can’t wait to have a dual screen experience going to watch how the Instant cards roll out. Thanks Tracy!

  3. So if I want to have a Panini Instant card of a certain player, I’m basically out of luck? If I was buying by team, this would be great. I’d hate to buy a number hoping for a certain player or even if I buy my team’s number only to see them trade down and then I wind up with something else.
