Exclusive Access: Panini America Takes You to the Production Facility (Video & Gallery)

Every time I'm fortunate enough to take the cross-town road trip to the Panini America production facility (literally every single time), I can't help but think I'm peering into a whirring, bustling version of collecting's crystal ball, spying rarely seen first looks at tomorrow's hottest sports cards. That scintillating sensation greeted me again yesterday.

Every time I’m fortunate enough to take the cross-town road trip to the Panini America production facility (literally every single time), I can’t help but think I’m peering into a whirring, bustling version of collecting’s crystal ball, spying rarely seen first looks at tomorrow’s hottest sports cards. That scintillating sensation greeted me again yesterday.

My primary mission yesterday was to document the making of some filthy Down & Dirty booklet cards of Alfred Morris coming to 2013 Playbook Football. I got tons of footage on that, but I also caught glimpses of so much more. Like 2012-13 Immaculate Basketball, 2013 Absolute Football, 2013 Hometown Heroes Baseball, 2013-14 Dominion Hockey and more.

Most of yesterday’s activity is captured in the gallery that follows. But before you get to the pictures, take a few minutes to enjoy the short Vine videos we posted to the Panini America Twitter account yesterday.

Now, to the images . . .
