By any measure, Panini America’s just-completed #PaniniWildCard weekend was a resounding success, both in terms of the meaningful interaction it created on Twitter with our customers but also in terms of the great deals it provided on iCollectPanini.com and Panini Authentic all weekend long.

But the highlight of the weekend for most of us here at Panini America was the simply fantastic, seemingly never-ending stream of Twitter images shared by our loyal fans and collectors showcasing them with their favorite Panini America cards. That’s how collectors became eligible to win one of 30 boxes of 2012 NFL trading cards from us. And that’s what promises to keep you busy for the next several minutes as you peruse our gallery of appreciation detailing more than 150 of our favorites.

Throughout the weekend, there were easily more than 300 images Tweeted using the #PaniniWildCard hash tag; but those that follow are the ones that included collectors with their cards — and made this Wild Card Weekend one we’ll never forget.

Also adding to the weekend madness: A joint promotion between Panini America and the NFL PLAYERS that awarded boxes of Panini America trading cards to 10 randomly selected @NFLPLAYERS Twitter followers. Earlier in the week, Panini America offered the boxes as prizes in an effort to help NFLPLAYERS reach 50,000 followers. Panini America fans responded en masse.

To everyone who participated from all of us here at Panini America: “Thank you.” You proved yet again why Panini America has the greatest fans and collectors on the planet. Enjoy the gallery and stay tuned: Our next great contest is always just around the corner.

  5. How could the Knights Lance tshirt with a favorite Denver bronco WR not make the puc cut??? 😉 was a great time either way

      1. But how could a cat make it, as well as a bag of Roasted Peanuts? 😛 Sorry, just had to say it. LOL!

Too bad my picture didn’t make the cut above. Still, thanks again for the contest Tracy and the rest of Panini. 😉

        1. There is a chance that I simply missed some, too. You guys and gals were so interactive that I might not have been able to keep up with everything. If I did miss you, it was completely unintentional.

        2. My cat was (IMO) cuter than that other cat. She wasn’t willing to sign the waiver, though. She also wanted extra wood in the fire, better food and a taller cat climber in exchange for her likeness being used. Needless to say we broke off negotiations and I had to submit a picture of myself holding a card. HAHAHAHA!

  6. AWESOME contest. I even gained a few new followers when you guys retweeted my pic! Thanks for including my ugly mug in the above pictures! Looking forward to the next contest!!!

  7. Cool I made the Panini Wildcard wall of fame,
But many people walked away with game,
Maybe one day Panini will hear my story,
And allow me to bask in all their glory!

    Thanks for the contest guys!

  8. What a great idea of a contest. Glad my ugly mug made the gallery as well. Greg Olsen needed to be represented! Thanks to everyone @ Panini for making collecting cards fun again!

      1. I chuckle when I read the questions about when the winners will be posted (I’ve done my share of that too over the last few months I must confess). Reminds me of my school students who ask to see their test grades the day after the test. But of course, this is sports cards we are talking about, not any old science test!!! Way cooler than that!!

  9. What a fun time actually looking at all the pictures. My son who is new to the collecting was showing off his favorite Brock Osweiler card and was lucky enough to be chosen to receive a prize, this will be his to open and add to his personal collection which is growing everytime he gets his report card (he spends the money on cards). Thanks for the Great contest Panini and Tracy.

  10. I don’t get on twitter a lot & really only have an account for contests & offers you guys put out on there but seeing all those cards posted & what player’s gets people excited made me remember why I got back into it in the first place. I’m slowly introducing my 4yr old into it with the Triple Play cards and hope to convert him over to football eventually (he’s a huge Rangers/baseball fan). I really had a good time looking through everything over the weekend.

  11. Thank you for doing something like this, it allows us collectors to see some amazing cards that people have collected over the year as well. Let’s bring on a new year and many new cards for everyone’s personal collection.

  12. That was so much fun! Sharing the passion of collecting with others all while showcasing Panini’s Beautiful Product! We also got to see what people collect all over canada and the US. I guess I got a little lucky.. i made two pics in the gallery

  13. Panini just gets it. From utilizing social networking to giving back to the supporters and outstanding customer service. Tracy, Scott, Chris and the entire crew genuinely care about the hobby, constantly going above and beyond. Thanks you guys for all that you do!

  14. Whoo hoo!!! I made the website again!!!! I’m gonna be famous pretty soon LOL!!! Panini is awesome and I’m sure they will continue to be for many many years to come!!!

  15. That was fun. I rarely use twitter and I am learning more and more how creative my devices are in conjuction with social media.
