Late yesterday evening, several large boxes arrived at the Panini America receiving dock, freshly delivered from the company's printing facility across town. While the packaging labels on the outside of those boxes -- "2012 Panini Absolute FB" -- foretold of promising contents, I didn't get the chance to actually see what was inside until today.

By the time I made it back to the Acquisitions area this morning, a dedicated team of Panini America folks was diligently yet carefully unpacking those boxes, preparing the precious cargo — 2012 Absolute Football Rookie Cards and parallels — for shipment to the respective NFL rookie superstars who will sign them.
The gallery below features some of the shimmering singles in their unsigned state, primarily the NFL, AFC and NFC prime-memorabilia versions. We’ll have tons of after-autograph peeks to share as soon as they arrive back to Panini America HQ safely and soundly.
But for now, enjoy the rainbow prismatic pop of these stunners . . .
Superb gallery, love that Luck even without the ink. Thanks Tracy!
AMAZING!! Can’t wait for Absolute! Keep up theGreat work Panini!
Is Blair Walsh going to get any cards this year?
ooooooooooooooo Shiny 🙂
The one thing you gotta love about this product and to me its main focus is the prime memorabilia used in it..and especially in the RPM’s.
loving the look of this set! can’t wait to see everything else!
Love love love these. Best Absolute RPM design ever!
Man! High praise indeed, Sergio. The product folks are going to love to hear that. Thanks for sharing.
Tracy,
That Tannehill is very cool looking, I really like the overal new spins Panini is putting on their classic products designs.
Will there be the different variations to the rookies like in uears past?
Thanks,
T
Yes, sir. Stay tuned!
Tracy will these cards have sticker autographs on them, or will the players sign on the card? It is a very nice design, the patches really pop with the mirror like background. Nice, job and cant wait to see some more!
These will be signed on-card!
Wow…. I am speechless right now! These cards have surpassed my expectations even without the signatures. I think I speak for many Panini collectors when I say they did one heck of a job with these beautiful masterpieces.
Gorgeous cards and great to hear they’ll have on card sigs!
love the look of these absolute was one of my favorite products last year and looks like it might be again this year… Will Dwayne Allen have a card in this set? I hope so
Glad to hear it. And yes, Mr. Allen will have cards in this set.
Love the new design of these. Will Luke Kuechly have one of these cards?
In these, no. But Joe Adams will. And Kuechly will have a base Rookie Card in the set.
Really nice gallery of these cards. I assume there’ll be a Trent Richardson rookie card as well? Can’t wait to watch the Panini Unwrapped for this set. Thanks for the sneak peeks as always!
You assume correctly!
Wow, Tracey, beautiful cards… These just might be my favorite Rookie cards this side of the big patches in R&S, et. al
Glad to hear it, Jamey. By the way, regarding your USA Baseball question, there will not be redemptions for memorabilia pieces in the box set product.
Hey Tracy, I think the new horizontal RPM design looks the best yet. Definitely a staple product in the Panini family. Can’t wait to bust a few of these boxes too!! Nice job this year with one of my favorites!!
